Whether we are aware of them or not, our thoughts impact all aspects of our lives—our behaviors, our moods, our opinions, and our sense of self. Many times the same thoughts rotate through our mind, again and again, like a spinning ferris wheel. In this mindfulness exercise, we will use the visualization of a ferris wheel to consciously choose the thoughts that get a seat in our mind and consciously choose positive, affirming thoughts over negative, unproductive ones.
