Seventh graders are experiencing patterns of growth and regression during this age of contrasting and evolving identities. They refine their thoughts and ideas through reflective writing practices and small-group collaboration. As seventh graders are better able to articulate their strengths and understand how to best contribute to a group, they continue developing their social and emotional skills.
